All concrete eventually develops some cracking, but good prep, proper thickness, reinforcement and well-placed control cuts help control where and how it cracks. Bryce designs each pour to minimize visible cracking and keep the slab performing for years.
Those are control joints. They’re placed and cut to help the concrete crack in a straight line instead of randomly across the slab — the goal is to prevent visible cracking in the areas you actually see.

Yes. Bryce builds concrete retaining walls and can recommend the right size, reinforcement and drainage details for your site.
Good prep is critical — usually a solid base with the right amount of rock, tamped properly. In some cases, tying the slab into your house with rebar drilled into the wall can also help keep it from settling away from the structure.
